    Of course. Why wouldn't they do that? We offer expensive cat trees and toys, we offer warm blankets, we offer ourselves as pillows for them to lie on, and then at the end of the day, they choose a potat. That's their way of keeping us on our toes. They give us a hint of affection to keep the food coming then remind us of our place by doing this.
